Domestic violence case filed on Yuvraj Singh by Akanksha Sharma

Yuvraj Singh and his family will find themselves in trouble as a case of domestic violence has been filed by Akanksha Sharma, the wife of Zoravar Singh who is Yuvraj’s brother. The case has been filed against Yuvraj, his mother Shabnam Singh and Zoravar. The mother of the southpaw has also filed a suit against Akanksha for recovery and the hearing of the case has been scheduled on October 21.

Akanksha Sharma refused to talk on the matter until the first hearing of the case. However, her lawyer Swati Singh Malik explained why the case was filed against Yuvraj Singh and family.

“Yes, Akanksha has filed a case of domestic violence against Yuvraj, her husband Zoravar and their mother Shabnam. Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj,” Swati Singh was quoted as saying by Spotboye.com.

She added that while Zoravar and his mother forced Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj was a mere spectator and later, joined hands with his family. “Yuvraj was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zoravar and his mother. When Yuvraj and Zoravar’s mother was pressurising Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj too had joined in to do the same. He too told Akanksha ‘to have a baby’. He was hand-in-glove with his mother,” Malik said.

“Yuvraj would even tell her that she should obey his mother because she was the most superior person in the house. Really, that lady is extremely dominant. Zoravar and Akanksha were at her mercy for every decision. Yuvraj even told Akanksha that if she does not toe the line then she has no place in that house,” Malik concluded.

Yuvraj Singh has been going through a rough patch career wise as he failed the fitness test on multiple occasions that led to his exclusion from the national side. Now the case against him is only going add to the worries.
