After winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson opted to bowl first. While bowling first, the RR vowels gave an amazing start. They started troubling the RCB batters. In front of the RR’s bowling, RCB batters lost some frequent wickets. After Rajat Patidar walked away, Dinesh Karthik came to bat.

In a dramatic turn of events during the Eliminator, Dinesh Karthik was trapped LBW by Avesh Khan’s delivery. The ball was full length and straightened after pitching, hitting DK on the pad as he played across the line. While replays showed a faint spike on the UltraEdge technology, it was unclear if it was the bat hitting the pad first or an inside edge.

The suspense built as the third umpire reviewed the decision closely. Despite RR’s strong disagreement, the third umpire ultimately ruled in Karthik’s favor, judging a possible inside edge. The decision didn’t make the RR’s side happy and Dinesh Karthik continued batting.
