CWI Makes History: Three Women Appointed to Board of Directors

The Inclusion of Three Women on the Board of Directors:

Diann Campbell and Louise Victor-Frederick are newly appointed members of the board, joining Debra Coryat-Patton, who has returned for another term. Their inclusion marks a notable step forward in Cricket West Indies’ commitment to diversity and gender inclusivity. Diann Campbell:

Diann Campbell, a Jamaican cricket administrator, boasts almost thirty years of experience in cricket management. She possesses a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a bachelor’s degree in History with a Minor in Politics. The West Indies Cricket Board is confident that her extensive knowledge in cricket administration, corporate governance, and organizational development will significantly contribute to the organization’s growth and success, reflecting its commitment to fostering expertise and leadership within the cricketing community.

Louise Victor-Frederick:

Louise Victor-Frederick, originating from Saint Lucia, is a distinguished branding and communications strategist. She earned a master’s degree in International Public Relations and Global Communications Management, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Notably, she has made significant contributions to the corporate sector in Saint Lucia and presently holds a directorial position at the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture. Her expertise and experience promise to enrich the strategic direction of the Cricket West Indies board.

Debra Coryat-Patton:

Debra Coryat-Patton, an attorney-at-law from Trinidad and Tobago, focuses on Employment Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Diplomatic Protocols. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Chartered Director and Chartered Corporate Secretary. With her specialized expertise, particularly in legal affairs, Coryat-Patton brings invaluable knowledge to the board.
