After six successful fixtures, Chennai Super Kings are locking horns with Gujarat Titans at the M. Chidambaram Stadium. In that match, while batting in the first innings, CSK made a unique record. With the first innings score, they register the most 200-plus score in the IPL.

After defeating RCB in the opening fixture, CSK met GT in their second match. After winning the toss, Shubman Gill opted to field first. While batting first CSK had an amazing start. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra started aggressively. Both missed their half-centuries but their contribution made the bade of the innings. 

Gaikwad Walked away after scoring 46 runs and Rachin Ravindra was dismissed on 46 runs. Then CSK lost Rahane’s wicket. Shivam Dube’s entry as an impact player was perfect. He did all the justice for his heam. In just 23 balls, he scored 51 runs. Dube smashed 2 boundaries and 5 over-boundaries and batted with a strike rate of 221.74. 

In CSK’s innings, Sameer Rizvi played a crucial role. He started with 2 boundaries against Rashid Khan. he was dismissed on a delivery by Mohit Sharma after scoring 14 runs in 6 balls. His strike rate was 233.33. Daryl Mitchell remained unbeaten on 24 runs. CSK put a total of 206/6 on the board.
