The ambassadors, who come from government, business, community, media, and cricket, will help drive the five priority areas of Australian Cricket’s Multicultural Action Plan. Participation, High Performance, People and Representation, Communications and Engagement, Event and Experience.

Through the Multicultural Action Plan, CA looks forward to making cricket more accessible for participants from culturally diverse communities in Australia, particularly from the cricket-loving cultures of South Asia.

“This is one of the fastest growing demographics in the country and the passion for the game will help unite and inspire everyone to love and play cricket,” CA says on its website.
