Speaking during the mid-innings break, Chahal revealed his game plan, stating, “Was trying to vary my pace, just tried to mix my length and pace. The combined brilliance of Boult and Chahal restricted the Mumbai Indians to a meagre total of 125/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Only two batsmen, Tilak Varma and skipper Hardik Pandya, managed to cross the 30-run mark, with Pandya leading the scoring with a brisk 34 runs off just 21 balls.
