Big Blow for Sri Lanka ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup

Things are not looking great for the Sri Lanka Cricket team. The team might not qualify directly for the Cricket World Cup 2023. They have been docked a point due to a slow over rate during the first ODI against New Zealand. 

A side loses one point for every over short according to Article 16.12.2 of the Super League Playing Regulations. As a result, Sri Lanka’s score decreased by one point.
