BCCI unveil new training kit ahead of the WTC Final

The BCCI, the governing body of cricket in India, introduced the new Indian cricket team’s training uniform on Thursday. Through its official Twitter account, the BCCI published images of Indian players and support staff wearing Adidas training gear.

The training uniforms’ shoulders and sleeves prominently display Adidas’ recognisable Three Stripes logo. The BCCI General Secretary Jay Shah revealed on Tuesday that the cricket governing body had reached a five-year agreement with the world’s largest apparel company, Adidas.

The players and support personnel shown in the photos are those who are currently in England getting preparations for the ICC World Test Championship final versus Australia. Beginning on June 7, the lone Test to determine the Test champions will be played at the Oval.

The initial glance of the training outfits has already been made public, but the jersey has yet to be seen. The BCCI General Secretary Jay Shah revealed on Tuesday that the cricket governing body had reached a five-year agreement with the world’s largest apparel company, Adidas.

Early on May 23, the first group of Indian players and support personnel will depart for London to get ready for the World Test Championship final against Australia, which will start on June 7.

The first travelling group will consist of players like Shardul Thakur,Umesh Yadav, and Axar Patel who had completed their Indian Premier League commitments by May 20. R Ashwin did not travel in the initial group. Later in the day, the off-spinner and left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat will depart. On May 24, it has been learned, Virat Kohli and pacer Mohammed Siraj are anticipated to fly to London.
