The cricket fans of Chennai are going to experience another thrilling cricket experience. The Australian Government and Cricket Australia are preparing to kick off the 2024-25 cricket season with a special event in Chennai on May 25, 2024. This event will celebrate the upcoming Men’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series and highlight the tours of the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams to Australia.

Preparations are underway for an exciting event in Chennai on May 25, 2024, as the Australian Government and Cricket Australia gear up to usher in the 2024-25 cricket season. This event marks the six-month countdown to the highly anticipated Men’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series. It will also shine a spotlight on the forthcoming tours of the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams to Australia.

The event will feature leaders from various industries, businesses, and government sectors, alongside cricket legends, coming together to celebrate the strong bond between Australia and India. With the Men’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series just six months away, the occasion will center on the upcoming tours of the Indian teams to Australia.

The Australian High Commissioner to India, Philip Green said, “The Border-Gavaskar trophy series promises to be the highlight of this summer’s cricket calendar. That’s why I’m encouraging Indian business leaders to travel to Australia to be there for the big games, develop new connections with Australian corporates, and experience all Australia has to offer.”
