Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural champions of the tournament, are gearing up for another thrilling season. With renewed determination, they aim to capture the trophy once again, showcasing their competitive spirit and commitment to success in the upcoming edition of the tournament.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced challenges in the previous IPL season but are determined for a turnaround in the upcoming edition. In the recent auction, they invested INR 14.30 crore to acquire five new players. The additions of Rovman Powell, Shubham Dubey, and Tom Kohler-Cadmore aim to strengthen their batting lineup. Alongside established players like Buttler, Jaiswal, and Dhruv Jurel, RR hopes for a collective effort for success. In this article, we will explore Three Batters of SRH to Watch Out for in IPL 2024.

Yashasvi Jaiswal:

Entering into the team as a youngster, Yashasvi Jaiswal is now a global star. In the previous IPL season, Ashasvi Jaiswal showcased exceptional batting prowess, accumulating 625 runs in 14 matches at an impressive strike rate of 163.61, emerging as his team’s top scorer. As a key player for RR, he carries the responsibility to maintain his stellar performance in the upcoming season.

Jaiswal’s outstanding IPL display earned him recognition from the Indian team selectors, securing his spot in the national squad. Representing India in T20 Internationals (T20Is), the 22-year-old opener has amassed 502 runs, including a century and four half-centuries. With his sensational form, he can be a player who will be worthy to watch.

Sanju Samson:

Sanju Samson will lead the team as captain, aiming to set an example with his batting performance. Despite a strong start in the previous season, he struggled to maintain consistency, ending with 362 runs in 14 matches. With 3403 runs in 130 matches, his experience and leadership will be vital for the team’s success.

As a longstanding member of the Royals, Samson’s role as captain since 2021 brings stability to the squad. While he was the team’s third-highest scorer last season, his focus now lies on delivering consistent performances throughout the upcoming season to lead the Royals effectively.

Dhruv Jurel:

Dhruv Jurel entered the IPL scene in 2023 and is set to make his mark with Rajasthan Royals after being recruited during the mega auction for the 15th season. Known for his wicket-keeping skills and batting prowess, Jurel previously served as vice-captain of India’s U19 World Cup team in 2020. His debut in the IPL signifies a significant step in his cricketing journey.

In the 2023 IPL season, the player participated in 13 matches, scoring a total of 152 runs with a highest score of 34*. His batting average stood at 21.71 while boasting an impressive strike rate of 172.73. Although he didn’t register any centuries or half-centuries, he hit 11 fours and 9 sixes throughout the season, showcasing his ability to score quickly and contribute to the team’s success.
