Vaibhav Suryavanshi met and talked to Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta. They were seen shaking hands in a video, following Punjab Kings match with Rajasthan Royals on Sunday.

Rajasthan Royals’ 14-year-old batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi impressed everyone with his stunning century against Gujarat Titans. After the match ended at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, the batter was seen chatting with Preity Zinta.

Suryavanshi’s Meet with Priety Zinta

Rajasthan Royals’ official handle shared the video on X (formerly Twitter). The franchise captioned the post as “Flex levels at school: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.”

The video shows Priety Zinta talking to RR’s opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. After speaking to the youngster for a brief while, she stepped aside by saying, “Nice meeting you.”

Then, she was seen speaking to Shashank Singh about wanting to meet the right-handed batter. “Come let’s go say hi to him.”

The actress then walked up to Vaibhav and had a brief chat with him. Suryavanshi first shook her hands. As a part of the video, the franchise used the song ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ in the background.

PBKS Head to the Playoffs

Punjab Kings won against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday by 10 runs. Earlier in the evening, Gujarat Titans beat Delhi Capitals, resulting in 2 qualification for the playoffs. GT and RCB also qualified for the playoffs.

In over a decade, this is the first time PBKS have qualified for the playoffs. They currently sit in the third spot in the points table with 17 points. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are already out of contention and are currently in ninth position.

Vaibhav has been an outstanding performer for RR this season. In 6 matches, he scored 195 runs at an average of 32.50 and a strike rate of 219.10.
