RCB’s Instagram Army Grows to 20 Million – A First in IPL

Royal Challengers Bengaluru has become the first IPL franchise to achieve the 20 Million Followers mark on Instagram. Their growing followers on social media are a clear indication of their strong fan base.

The 20 Million Follower Milestone

RCB has been doing well in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. The team has performed remarkably under the leadership of Rajat Patidar. The Bengaluru-based franchise, along with their success on the field, has become more popular on Instagram.

Fans from all over the world are rooting for the team to win its maiden IPL title. This fast-growing support can be seen in their increasing number of followers. RCB has now become the first IPL team to reach 20 million followers on Instagram.

This achievement proves that RCB has the biggest fan base on social media. Chennai Super Kings are in second place with 18.6 million, followed by Mumbai Indians in third with 18 million.

RCB Aim for Top Two Finish

Royal Challengers Bengaluru suffered a big 42-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday. This loss put a dent in their chances to finish in the top two.

RCB could still finish at the top of the table by defeating Lucknow Super Giants on May 27, and hoping other results go their way. They need Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings’ defeats in their remaining matches to get to the top.

A second-place finish is also possible if RCB win and only one of GT or PBKS manage to win their match. However, if RCB lose against LSG, it could push them down to fourth.

Finishing in the top two ensures a spot in Qualifier 1, which gives the teams two chances at making it to the final. On Tuesday, RCB will have no room for error and will aim to claim this spot.
