RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood is set to miss their match against LSG at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. Hazlewood’s return was highly anticipated. However, during the toss, captain Jitesh Sharma confirmed that he will be available from RCB’s next match.
Hazlewood went back home during the suspension, carrying a shoulder injury. He returned to India on Sunday. Hazlewood has missed three matches, having last played on April 27.
Hazlewood has been crucial for RCB this season. He is currently third in the Purple Cap standings with 18 wickets from 10 matches, with an average of 17. His best performance with the ball this season was 4/33.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru is currently placed third in the IPL 2025 points table. They have won 8 out of 13 games and have 17 points after losing their last game.
RCB still has one game remaining and will need to win it to secure a top-two position. PBKS has already sealed their place in Qualifier 1 scheduled for May 29.
