Jos Buttler Blown Away by Young Talent Sai Sudharsan

Jos Buttler, Gujarat Titans’ batter, has praised his young teammate Sai Sudharsan for his quality cricket. He stated that he was impressed with Sai’s performance and talked about his impression of him when he saw him in the nets.

Sudharsan currently leads the standings of the Orange Cap with 504 runs in 10 matches. GT has performed very well in the tournament until now. Their top order has been phenomenal and has helped them win 7 out of 10 games. They currently hold the second position in the points table behind MI.

Buttler Impressed With Sudharsan

Buttler joined the Gujarat Titans this year and was instantly impressed with Sai Sudharsan. He revealed his impression of him when he saw him in the nets for the first time.

“I’ve said it few times, day one watching him in the nets, I was blown away by how good he is. More importantly great head on his shoulders,” Buttler said after GT’s win over SRH on Friday night.

Buttler also talked about Sai’s modesty, and that has helped him progress and improve his game.

“The effort he puts in, the work, the understanding of his game, the humility to keep coming everyday and keep working. He’s shown fantastic consistency and getting the rewards he deserves,” he added.

Praise For Prasidh Krishna As Well

Prasidh Krishna, along with his Sai Sudharsan, has done a remarkable job for GT. Krishna is the Purple Cap holder with 19 wickets in 10 matches.

“The basics, he (Prasidh) does very well. He bowls a fantastic line, doesn’t give the guys too much width, and he watches the batters well and follows them. He mixes his lengths, uses his bounce and yorkers. When he gets back onto the good length, he is very disciplined and executes really well. It’s actually been the fielding, and that’s the big thing,” Buttler added.
