Tim David’s Playful Antics in the Rain: Dressing Room Erupts in Laughter

Australian batter Tim David enjoyed the rain in Bengaluru, gliding on the ground covers at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. He received an exhilarating reaction from his teammates when he walked back to the dressing room, completely drenched.

The IPL is set to resume on May 17 after being suspended for a week. Ahead of their clash with Kolkata Knight Riders, RCB had a practice session, which was interrupted by rain.

David’s Light-Hearted Moment

Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Tim David gave his fans a reason to smile after their practice session was interrupted. He was seen swimming across the ground covers, gliding on his stomach and enjoying the weather.

Entirely soaked, David made his way back to the dressing room. There, he was met with applause and cheers from the squad. This fun moment was recorded and put on RCB’s social media handle. It quickly went viral on social media and brought smiles to people’s faces.

David was picked up by RCB for INR 3 crore in the 2025 mega auction. Since then, he has made a major impact in the middle-order with his batting. This season, he has scored 186 runs in 11 matches at an impressive average of 93, with a strike rate of 193.75.

His best performance came against Punjab Kings, where he scored an unbeaten 50. However, his incredible knock was in a losing cause as RCB lost the match. Last season, he scored 241 runs for MI at a strike rate of 130.12, but they let him go.

Since his first match in 2021 for MI, he has scored 845 runs in the league, averaging 33.80.

RCB is currently in the second spot in the standings with 16 points in 11 matches. If RCB beats KKR on Saturday, they will become the first team to qualify in the playoffs.
