Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma shared a heartfelt moment after RCB sealed their place in the IPL 2025 final. The viral moment showed Virat gesturing to Anushka after their win against PBKS on Thursday.

Virat Kohli moved a step closer to claiming his first IPL title as Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Punjab Kings. RCB won by 8 wickets at the New PCA Stadium in Mullanpur on Thursday. This will be RCB’s fourth appearance in the final, first in nine years.

Virat-Anushka’s Sweet Moment

Although Virat managed only 12 runs with the bat, he was actively involved during the team’s bowling. He was seen setting the field and talking to bowlers, encouraging them throughout their spells. He also celebrated every wicket in his signature style.

As the final runs were struck, marking RCB’s entry into the final, Virat leapt from joy and high-fived his teammate. Moments after their victory, the senior batter turned to the stands where his wife Anushka Sharma was sitting.
Virat raised his index finger, indicating that just one more win would break their 18 year long wait. As he gestured toward his wife he was seen mouthing “One more to go.” Anushka, trying to match Virat’s energy, was beaming with pride and smiling back at him.

Virat has scored 614 runs from 14 matches so far and is still in contention for the Orange Cap. Leading the race with 678 runs is Sai Sudharsan, who will play for Gujarat Titans against Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator.

Although Virat’s energy fired everyone up, it was Rajat Patidar who led the team to the final. His bowling changes paid off as they took four wickets in the powerplay. Patidar kept the pressure on PBKS’s batting by sticking with pace bowling even after the fielding restrictions ended.
Punjab were bowled out for just 101 in 14.1 overs. RCB chased down the target in 10 overs, with Phil Salt scoring an unbeaten 56.
