Jos Buttler Reveals the Player Who’s Impressed Him Most

Gujarat Titans’ batter Jos Buttler has picked the player he finds the most impressive. He praised former Indian captain Rohit Sharma for how he led the Indian cricket team over the past few years.

Amid the ongoing season of IPL, GT’s Jos Buttler came forward and talked about the player who has impressed him the most. Buttler took Rohit’s name, who has put in some stunning performances this season for MI.

Buttler appeared on Kookaburra Cricket India for an interaction. He was asked which cricketer in the country has had a huge impression on him in the recent past. “Which Indian cricketer has impressed you the most over the last few years?” the interviewee questioned.

‘Big Rohit Fan’

“Rohit Sharma, and in the way that he has captained the country. And, I think the way he’s played, big Rohit fan,” Buttler said in a video shared by Kookaburra Cricket India.

Buttler and Rohit are currently busy with the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. While the former is playing for Gujarat Titans, Rohit is still a part of Mumbai Indians, a team he has led to five title wins.

Both star batters are in outstanding form this season. Buttler has scored 533 runs in 12 matches, whereas Rohit has 305 runs in 12 matches he has played.

GT and MI in IPL Playoffs

Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians both have qualified for the playoffs with a good chance of winning the title. The five-time champions last won in 2020, but since then, they have not been at their best. However, this season, the Hardik Pandya-led team has seemed confident to lift their sixth trophy.

On the other hand, the Gujarat Titans won in their debut year (2022), while making it to the finals in 2023. They had a forgettable season in 2024. However, the Shubman Gill-led side has made a comeback this season and qualified for their third playoffs in only their fourth season.
