Australian cricket star Glenn Maxwell and his wife Vini Raman have shared their joy with the world as they announced the birth of their baby boy. The couple welcomed their new addition to the family and chose the adorable name ‘Logan Maverick Maxwell’ for their bundle of joy. Vini Raman took to her Instagram account to make the heartwarming announcement, sharing a precious picture of the newborn baby with themselves.
The exciting news of the baby’s arrival comes after a period of anticipation and heartfelt messages from the couple. Back during the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, when Glenn Maxwell was representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Vini Raman had initially shared the news of their pregnancy on her Instagram account. In her post, she expressed her and Glenn’s joy and shared their emotional journey with their followers.
In her Instagram caption, she had written, “Glenn & I are ecstatic to announce our rainbow baby is due September 2023. It’s so important for us to acknowledge this journey has not been the smoothest or easiest. I know first hand how painful it can be to see posts like these wondering if and when your time will be. We send our love and strength to other couples who are struggling with fertility or loss.”
As the proud parents welcome their baby boy, Glenn Maxwell is gearing up for a significant cricketing endeavour. He is set to represent Australia in the highly anticipated 2023 World Cup, which is scheduled to begin next month. The explosive all-rounder, who is known for his incredible hitting prowess, remains committed to his cricketing career.
In a recent interaction, Glenn Maxwell expressed his dedication and determination. He stated, “I’ll keep playing as long as people will have me, until they think that someone is more deserving of my spot, which is fine. Until then, I’ll keep plugging along. I still feel fit, I still feel young, especially with the role I play. I still try to hit hotspots on the field, I’m not hiding at all.”
Maxwell has a history of being a crucial contributor to the Australian cricket team. He played a pivotal role in helping Australia secure victory in the 2015 World Cup, where he scored 324 runs in 8 matches at an impressive average of 64.80.
