The Delhi Premier League on August 24 delivered two thrilling encounters. The first saw North Delhi Strikers face off against Purani Delhi 6, while the second featured West Delhi Lions against Central Delhi Kings. Purani Delhi 6 Bowlers Dominated the Opponent:
While bowling in the first innings, the Purani Delhi bowlers showcased excellence. Aayush Singh got an early scalp while dismissing Vaibhav Kandpal. After that, the bowlers secured some quick wickets. Captain Lalit Yadav secured the crucial wicket of Sarthak Ranjan. Aayush Singh ended up securing 3 wickets in 34 runs. West Delhi Lions Suffered Huge Loss:
West Delhi Lions took on the Central Delhi Kings in the 12th match of the Delhi Premier League. While bowling in the first innings, the Central Delhi bowlers showcased Sumit Kumar secured the first wicket after dismissing Ankit Kumar. After that, Vivek Yadav was dismissed by him. Yogesh Sharma and Prince Choudhary secured 2 wickets each. Money Grewal got 1 wicket. They stopped the opponent in 123 runs.
The second innings was a disaster for the West Delhi Lions bowlers. They struggled and failed to secure any wickets. Suryakant Chauhan bowled an expensive spell. He conceded 31 runs in 4 overs and didn’t secure any wickets. Navdeep Saini conceded 14 runs and didn’t secure any wickets. Dev Lakra conceded 15 runs and secured no wickets. With this Performance, West Delhi Lions suffered a massive defeat of 10 wickets.
