Delhi Premier League 2024: Most Wickets Updated After PD 6 vs WDL Match No. 7

Purani Delhi 6 Bowlers’ Excellence:

The 7th match of the Delhi Premier League witnessed an exciting match between Purani Delhi 6 and East Delhi Lions. The match witnessed some thrilling bowling performances. While bowling in the first innings, the Purani Delhi bowlers set the stage on fire. Captain Lalit Yadav got the first breakthrough after dismissing Ankit Kumar-II on a duck. 

Laxman created magic with the ball on the field. He secured three crucial wickets of Shivam Gupta, Hrithik Shokeen, and Tishant Pawan Dabla. Aayush Singh secured 2 wickets only in 27 runs. Shivam Sharma secured 1 wicket in 15 balls. They restricted the opponent in 141 runs. 

West Delhi Lions Failed to Dominate:

While bowling in the second innings, the West Delhi bowlers struggled. Deepak Punia secured the first scalp after dismissing Manjeet. Along with batting, captain Hrithik Shikeen shined with the ball. He conceded 21 runs and secured 2 crucial wickets. 

Other than them, no other bowler secured any wickets. They conceded runs on crucial points. Navdeep Saini conceded 31 runs and ended up securing no wickets. Dev Lakra conceded 20 runs in 3 overs and secured no wickets. They failed to dominate the opponent and faced a defeat of 7-wicket.
