Delhi Premier League 2024: Most Wickets Updated After NDS vs EDR Match No. 14

Another Sunday of the Delhi Premier League was decked up with two thrilling matches. In today’s matches, the South Delhi Superstarz clashed with the West Delhi Lions, while the North Delhi Strikers played against the East Delhi Riders. Bowlers dominated both games, leading to notable shifts in the top wicket-takers list. Their impressive performances on the field highlighted their crucial roles in the matches.

South Delhi Superstarz Dominated With the Ball:

In the 13th match of the Delhi Premier League, South Delhi Superstaz locked horns with the West Delhi Lions. While bowling in the first innings, the West Delhi Riders struggled. Deepak Punia dismissed Sarthak Roy and secured the first wicket. Shivank Vashisht secured 1 wicket in 34 runs. Tishant Pawan Dabla secured 1 wicket in 37 balls. 

While bowling in the second innings, the South Delhi Superstarz bowled exceptionally well. Kuldip Yadav conceded 19 runs and secured 2 wickets. Deepanshu Gulia conceded 21 runs and secured 1 wicket. Digvesh Rathi, Shubham Dubey, and Ayush Badoni secured 2 wickets each. They restricted the opponent in 159 runs and registered a big 69 runs win. 

The Riders Shined:

North Delhi Strikers locked horns with South Delhi Superstarz in the 14th match of the Delhi Premier League. While bowling in the first innings, the East Delhi bowlers shined bright. Himanshu Chauhan secured the first scalp and broke a 141-run opening partnership. Simarjeet Singh is outstanding. He secured 3 wickets in 30 runs. The other bowlers secured 1 wickets each. They stopped the opponent in 179 runs. 

While bowling in the second innings, the North Delhi bowlers faced a setback. The opponent batters dominated them. Anirudg Choudhary conceded 37 runs and secured 1 wicket. Coming as an impact player, Manan Bhardwaj secured 1 wicket in 30 runs. Suyash Sharma bowled an expensive spell. He conceded 54 runs and secured 1 wicket. After those struggles, they faced a defeat of 6 wickets.
