Another day, another doubleheader at the Delhi Premier League. On August 24, cricket enthusiasts witnessed two exciting clashes. In the first match, North Delhi Strikers locked horns with Purani Delhi 6. In the second match, the West Delhi Lions met the Central Delhi Kings. Both matches were decked up with some exciting battling performances. Those brought some notable changes in the tournament’s most-runs list.
In the 11th match of the tournament, North Delhi Strikers faced Purani Delhi 6. While batting in the first innings, the North Delhi side lost their first wicket quickly. Sarthak Ranjan scored an incredible half-century on a very crucial point. When the team was losing consecutive wickets, Pranav Rajvanshi played a crucial knock of 41 runs in 35 balls. With those struggles, they scored 130 runs after losing 7 wickets.

While chasing the target, the Purani Delhi side was in good shape. Arpit Rana scored 19 runs in 12 balls. On a crucial point, Keshav Dalal and Lalit Yadav made an important partnership. Keshav Dalal scored an outstanding half-century and played a knock of 59 runs in just 36 balls. Skipper Lalit Yadav played an unbeaten knock of 44 runs in 31 balls. They reached the target in the 15th over and won the match by 6 wickets.
In the 12th match of the Delhi Premier League, West Delhi Lions locked horns with Central Delhi Kings. While batting in the first innings, the West Delhi batters struggled. The first few wickets went down quickly. Krish Yadav scored 19 runs in 25 balls. Ayush Doseja scored 21 runs in 25 balls. Aryan Dalal added 22 runs. Tishant Pawan Dabla remained unbeaten on 27 runs in 22 balls. In 20 overs, they scored 123 runs.
While batting in the second innings, the Central Delhi batters chased down the target easily. Lakshay Thareja played an unbeaten knock of 46 runs in 37 balls. Dhruv Kaushik scored a classic half-century and remained unbeaten on 68 runs in 52 balls. With that outstanding domination, they registered a massive 10-wicket win.
