On Tuesday, June 3, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru claimed their first-ever title in the Indian Premier League 2025. They became the eighth different franchise to win a title in the league.
Bengalur ended their years long wait by defeating Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium. RCB won a huge sum of INR 20 crore, while PBKS was awarded INR 13 crore.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru became a first time champion in the Indian Premier League on Tuesday. They were awarded a massive amount of INR 20 crore.
Punjab Kings, the runner ups, received INR 13 crore for their admirable performance this season. Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians, finishing third and fourth received INR 7 crore and INR 6.5 crore, respectively.
Sai Sudharsan finished at the top of the Orange Cap standings with 759 runs in 15 matches. He was awarded INR 10 lakhs for his consistent performance.
Prasidh Krishna won INR 10 lakhs as Purple Cap prize money. He claimed 25 wickets in 15 matches.
