In the powerplay, with a substantial target in mind, Rohit highlighted the importance of scoring as much as possible. “When you have that kind of target, you want to score as much as possible in the powerplay,” he remarked.
Looking ahead in the tournament, Rohit Sharma recognized the challenge of adapting to different conditions. He emphasized the need for players to adjust to varying conditions and suit their gameplay accordingly. “That is going to be the challenge for us as a team, moving to different conditions and adapting,” Rohit noted.
Rohit Sharma concluded by praising the cricket-loving audience in Chennai. He commended their dedication as they braved the heat to support the team. “Chennai never disappoints, they love their cricket, and for them to sit in that heat and come out and cheer for the team says a lot,” Rohit Sharma remarked.
