#2 Rohit Sharma
Another Indian opener Rohit Sharma also had a fantastic year in the shortest format of the game. Even though he didn’t have a great run in the Indian Premier League in 2018 yet his international form was pretty good that earns him a place in T20I XI of 2018.
Rohit made 590 runs in 18 innings, averaging 36.87. Additionally, he had a strike rate of 147.5. He finished the year as the second highest run-getter, only behind his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan. The right-hander also struck 2 centuries, the most by any batsman in 2018.
