South Africa’s Performance in the World Cup:
South Africa started the tournament with a bang. In their first match, they scored the highest-ever World Cup total. They won the match by a huge margin. Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram scored centuries in that match. After that, they defeated Australia by 134 runs. In that inning, Quinton de Kock scored another century. They defeated England by 229 runs. In that match, Heinrich Klaasen scored a magnificent century. They defeated New Zealand by 190 runs.
In the group stage, South Africa met India at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. That match was a nightmare for them. While batting first, India put on a huge total of 326 runs.
