Virat’s Men To Remain Busy In 2021

The COVID-19 has forced the entire cricket world to take a long break. This year the world of sports has been hugely affected by the pandemic. While fans cannot wait long for cricket to make comeback, next year’s schedule of Indian cricket team will make them very happy.

India to play 15 Test matches

2021 will be a very busy year for the Indian cricket team. Virat’s men may have to play around 15 Test matches next year to make up for the 2020 season. As the IPL 2020 gets postponed for an indefinite time and the threat of a pandemic is still not under control, the men in blue may have a very few days in hand this year to spend on the field. But as per next year’s schedule, Indian cricket team may have very little time to stay off the field due to the intense cricket action.

In 2020 Indian team was scheduled to play only five Tests out of which they already appeared for two in New Zealand. On the other hand, they already played 16 limited-over matches- six ODIs and eight T20Is. Next season’s journey will begin with a tour to Australia this November to play a four-match Test series and three One Day Internationals. The year will be concluded the year with a tour to South Africa by playing three Test matches and as many as T20I matches.
