Virat Kohli and Sanju Samson walked out for the toss together today ahead of the 16th match of Indian Premier League. The Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson called for tails. Ian Bishop was at the toss ceremony who said, “Tails is the call for Sanju”.
Then he looked at the coin and added that the coin was showing heads. This clearly means Virat Kohli the captain of RCB won the toss.
Surprisingly, Virat Kohli seemed to be missing Bishop’s words as he congratulated the RR skipper. Even Sanju Samson went ahead to talk to Ian Bishop. Bishop asked, ” What are you going to do?” Both realized that it was Kohli who actually won the toss.
A surprised Kohli said, “Oh, we won the toss! Sorry.” He took the mic from Samson and said, “We are not used to winning tosses. We are going to to bowl first.”
