Sandeep Lamichhane is a star bowler from Nepal. A few times back, he was accessed of a rape case but declared innocent after that. Previously, he shared on social media that his visa application to the US Embassy in Nepal was rejected on May 22. Initially left out of Nepal’s T20 World Cup squad, Lamichhane planned to travel to the USA and the West Indies for the tournament. While his teammates had already left for the matches, Lamichhane faced visa rejection. Then he mentioned a previous incident where he was denied a visa for the CPL.

This similar unfortunate event happened once again with the bowler. A visa interview was scheduled for him on May 30. But even after all those processes, his visa has been rejected once more. Even though he was getting help from the government, that ended up on a disappointing side for Lamichhane. If the visa was not denied, he would be flown out to the US. But once again he is going to miss another ICC tournament and will not be part of the Nepal team in the T20 World Cup.
