Trent Boult Reflects on Special Bond with Kane Williamson and Tim Southee

Boult had shared that this T20 World Cup would be his final one, a decision that caught many in cricket by surprise. With New Zealand not advancing to the Super 8 stage, Boult’s last game in the tournament came against Papua New Guinea.

Trent Boult’s T20 career has been exciting. He played 61 matches and secured 83 scalps.  He enjoyed a distinguished T20 World Cup career, claiming 34 wickets to rank among the top ten highest wicket-takers in the tournament’s history. His retirement marked the end of an era. In his final T20 match, he took 2 wickets while conceding 14 runs, showcasing his skill one last time on the global stage.
