Punjab Kings have had a history of frequent captaincy changes and a lack of stability, reflecting in their win percentage of 44.82, the second-lowest in IPL history. Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Faf Du Plessis, have faced the third-most losses in IPL history, with 120 losses in 241 matches. Despite boasting star players like AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, RCB has failed to clinch the IPL title. Kolkata Knight Riders, co-owned by Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, have suffered 114 losses out of 237 matches. They have the fourth most losses in IPL history. Despite winning the IPL twice under Gautam Gambhir‘s captaincy, KKR has struggled to maintain consistency in recent years. Since 2014, Kolkata Knight Riders have failed to add another title to their name, highlighting their inconsistency.
Rounding off the top five is Mumbai Indians, the most successful team in IPL history with five titles. Despite their success, Mumbai Indians have also faced 105 losses in 247 matches.
