Team India’s 2024-25 Home Season Schedule Revealed: Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England Tours

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 international home season, featuring exciting tours by Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England.

Season Kicks Off with Bangladesh Tour

The action gets underway in September with a two-Test series against Bangladesh, sponsored by IDFC First Bank. The first Test will be held in Chennai from September 19th to 23rd, followed by the second Test in Kanpur from September 27th to October 1st.

Following the Tests, the focus shifts to the shorter format as India and Bangladesh lock horns in a three-match T20I series. Dharamsala, Delhi, and Hyderabad will play host to these T20 matches on October 6th, 9th, and 12th respectively.

Black Caps Arrive in October

In October, the prestigious Test format returns as New Zealand visits India for a three-match series. The opening Test gets underway on October 16th in Bengaluru, with Pune and Mumbai hosting the second and third Tests from October 24th and November 1st respectively.

The arrival of 2025 promises another exciting white-ball showdown as England embarks on a tour of India. The five-match T20I series kicks off on January 22nd, with Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai hosting the matches. This series will be followed by a three-match ODI series, with Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad holding the ODIs on February 6th, 9th, and 12th respectively.
