For this match, Sri Lanka will rely on their batters, particularly Pathum Nissanka (56) and Dunith Wellalage (67), to deliver stronger performances and avoid another middle-order collapse.
In the second ODI against Sri Lanka, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma achieved a significant milestone by becoming the fourth-highest run-scorer for India in ODIs. With his second run in the match, Rohit surpassed the legendary Rahul Dravid’s tally of 10,768 runs. Rohit, who debuted in 2007, has now amassed 10,769 runs in 264 matches, boasting an impressive average of over 49. This achievement places him behind only Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Sourav Ganguly in the list of India’s top ODI run-scorers.
