Warne on Samson

Former Australia spinner and Rajasthan Royals brand ambassador Shane Warne was in awe of Samson’s batting against Chennai Super Kings. He said that he could not believe Samson not being part of Indian side across three formats. “I can’t believe he’s (Sanju Samson) not in the Indian side in all three formats, he’s such a great player, I’m really looking forward to watching him in the IPL.” He further told in a conversation with Star Sports, “Your best players should face most balls. If you look at our side Buttler, Smith, and Samson are our best batsmen.”

Samson’s inclusion in the Indian side has been discussed quite a lot. But Samson has to managed to play only four matches for Team India even though he debuted for the national side in 2015. If Sanju Samson manages to continue with this form, he might get a call back in Virat Kohli’s side again.
