According to Singh, a few days after his breathtaking innings, Shah Rukh Khan called him to congratulate him. During the conversation, the Bollywood superstar joked about how people often ask him to perform at their weddings, but he usually declines. However, Shah Rukh Khan has vowed to make an exception for Rinku Singh, promising to dance at his wedding. Singh shared this amusing incident during an interview with Jio Cinemas, the official digital broadcaster of the IPL 2023 and it goes to show the friendly and down-to-earth nature of the KKR co-owner.
“Sir (Shah Rukh Khan) called me after that. He was talking about my marriage. SRK said people call me for their marriage, I don’t go. Mein teri shaadi mein aunga naachne (I will come to your wedding to dance),” Rinku Singh said during his screen time at Jio Cinema.
