Sakshi Dhoni revealed Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s post-lockdown plans. Sakshi, in an Instagram Live, shared that they would go for road trips and skip the flights.

Dhoni’s post-lockdown plans

While Dhoni’s cricket comeback is a matter of concern for the world cricket, Sakshi Dhoni revealed what they are actually planning to do after the lockdown. She held an Instagram Live session on the official handle of Dhoni’s Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings. She told that in case there is no cricket, the family would travel to Uttarakhand and do road trips. “Post-lockdown, if there is cricket, then cricket. If there is no cricket, Mahi and I have planned to hit the hills. We are planning to travel to Uttarakhand. Mahi loves snow…stay in small villages. We will do road trips and no flights.”

She further said that lockdown did not impact much of her daily life. Like always, Ziva and their pets kept the stylish couple occupied during the lockdown. “We have always lived like this in Ranchi. Maximum Mahi used to go to the stadium to practice which is 10 minutes drive from home. I used to go to the gym… We are homebound. Obviously, Ziva used to go to school. That’s it. Ziva has kept us occupied and our dogs have kept us occupied during this lockdown.”

Sakshi rejects retirement rumours

Dhoni has been out of action since India‘s World Cup 2019 campaign ended against New Zealand in the semi-final. His retirement speculations keep making headlines. Recently once again #Dhoniretires started trending on twitter when Sakshi Dhoni decided to rubbish all such rumours.

She tweeted, “Its only rumours ! I understand Lockdown has made people mentally unstable ! #DhoniRetires .. Get a life ! (sic).” Dhoni was all set to make a comeback in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. Amid the COVID-19 scare, the IPL got delayed for an indefinite period until further notice.
