It was Sri Lanka legend Lasith Malinga who first came into the discussion by bowling diagonally with his hand. In India, Kedar Jadhav was seen bowling in the same way for the Indian team. The legality of the delivery was questioned earlier and Parag was not spared too. this time, the leg break bowler came to bowl when Ambati Rayudu was on strike. He went on to concede 16 runs albeit. As per as the match is concerned, Chennai Super Kings set a target of 189 runs for the loss of nine wickets. In reply, a 35-ball 49 from Jos Buttler could not save Rajasthan Royals. The middle order failed terribly and Moeen Ali delivered a super spell. Ali took three wickets in his three overs conceding just seven runs including 11 balls. The Royals could score 149/ in their allotted 20 overs. As expected, Moeen Ali was the player of the match. Sam Curran also picked up two important wickets and two were scalped by Ravindra Jadeja.
