Ravindra Jadeja Ready for ‘Whistle Podu’, Shares the Countdown Post for IPL 2020

Just like the fans, even the cricketers cannot wait anymore for the much anticipated 13th edition of India Premier League. Ravindra Jadeja, the superstar of Chennai Super Kings took to his social media account and began the countdown of the league.

IPL 2020 to begin soon

The 13th edition of IPL is finally all set to be run from September 19 to November 10 in UAE. The Indian cricket board decided to shift IPL to UAE in wake of the pandemic. Although the move has logistical challenges, this was probably the only way for the BCCI to organize the league. Amid all sponsorship speculation, the Kings XI Punjab co-owner Ness Wadia mentioned that this would be the best and most-watched IPL in the history of the league.

The IPL franchises will have a huge task of maintain all guidelines and a mistake could ruin the entire league. The BCCI set a SOP for them to follow keeping all precautionary measures in mind. The players will have to go through multiple round testing and also observe six days of quarantine upon arriving to UAE.

Although these look like a really challenging task, everyone associated to the league are keen to make it a huge success. The players are also eagerly waiting for the game. For the Indian players, it would be the first tournament after the coronavirus stopped cricket in the county. They were playing against South Africa in March when due to the COVID-19, the series was suspended. No wonder they are waiting for a massive comeback. The excitement is huge and the social media activities are prove to the same.

The post shows him pointing towards his jersey number while the captain reads, “It’s time ⏳ @chennaiipl💛 #whistlepodu”. No wonder he cannot wait to hit the ground to rock for the CSK.
