India registered an exceptional win against New Zealand in the first semifinal. It was a clinical performance by the entire lineup. It was a revenge-taking match for India. In the 2019 World Cup, the Kiwis defeated India by 18 runs. With that defeat, India bid goodbye to that tournament. That was the most heartbreaking moment for every Indian. In that match, they defeated the Kiwis by 70 runs. Indian batters and bowlers were exceptional. The fielding ceremony is a new attraction of this tournament. But in the last match, the medal was presented in a new way.

Ravindra Jadeja is the New Winner:

After an excellent performance with the bat, India showed the magic even with the ball. Mohammad Shami was exceptional. He took 7 wickets. Virat Kohli scored his 50th century and Shreyas Iyer scored a century. That strengthened India’s innings. While fielding, Indian players showed effort. Because of the team game, India secured their spot in the final.

India made a few blunders while fielding. India did some missed fields and despite that New Zealand scored some quick runs. As a fielder, Ravindra Jadeja took three excellent catches. One of the best catches of the match was taken by him. Daryl Mitchell played an excellent innings of 134 runs. Jadeja took his catch. In an excellent delivery of Jasprit Bumrah, Jadeja took the catch of Glenn Phillips. Chapman was one of his haunts.

After the match, the biggest attraction is the medal ceremony. This is something new started in the team in this tournament. The fielding coach decides on the best fielder. This ceremony was simpler than the previous ones. The fielders were awarded a medal and loads of appreciation. In this semifinal, the bowling coach announced the name. There are a few strong contenders like Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul. But Jadeja was the most flexible with a catch. Fielding coach T. Dilip praised everyone for their exceptional performance. The baton passed from Suryakumar Yadav to Ravindra Jadeja.

After that sensational win, India secured the ticket to the final. The final clash is scheduled for November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India is hosting the tournament this time. Till the semifinal stage, India is still unbeaten. They won all the 10 matches. India arranged the tournament in 2011 and ended the tournament by being the winner. Fans are hoping for the best this time.
