Yuzvendra Chahal‘s match-winning spell of 18/3 in tonight’s game against Sunrisers Hyderabad helped Royal Challengers Bangalore win their first game by 10 runs. Chasing the target of 164, SRH was cruising towards it at one stage. But Chahal dismissed the two set batsmen Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey to swing the game completely.
Mohammad Shami also took 3 wickets for Kings XI Punjab against Delhi Capitals and he is the current holder of the Purple Cap by virtue of a better economy rate. Chennai Super Kings’ Lungi Ngidi is the other bowler with 3 wickets and he is third on the table behind Chahal.
