Purple Cap Holder of IPL 2020: Updated After CSK vs RCB Match 25

There have not been any drastic changes in the Purple Cap list after the 24th and 25th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League in UAE. However, Mohammed Shami today also added one wicket to his name conceding 30 runs in four overs against Kolkata Knight Riders. From King XI Punjab, the successful duo of last match, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi also scalped one wicket each. Kolkata Knight Riders eventually set a target of 165 for Kings XI Punjab. Prasidh Krishna was brilliant today and picked up three crucial wickets including KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, and Prabhsimran Singh. Sunil Narine, on the other hand showed why he is trusted with his all-round ability and took two wickets. While Shami and Bishnoi are featured in the top ten highest wicket-takers’ list so far, KKR do not have any representative.

In the second match Shardul Thakur took two wickets of behalf of Chennai Super Kings for 40 runs in his four overs. Deepak Chahar and Sam Curran picked up one each, although the latter was really expensive. From Royal Challengers Bangalore, Washington Sundar was the highlight of the bowling unit with two wickets for 16 runs in three overs. Yuzvendra Chahal today could take just one wicket, however, managed to stay in the top ten list.
