IPL 2020 Purple Cap table is a happy place for the Mumbai Indians bowling unit. However, earlier they had four representatives in the chart and now they have three. In the 41st match of IPL 2020, Mumbai Indians bowlers ran through the Chennai Super Kings line-up and restricted them to just 114 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Jasprit Bumrah was outstanding and in fact, at one point he was on a hattrick. Although he missed the chance, he ended up with two valuable wickets (4-0-25-2). Trent Boult was the highest wicket-taker for MI today with four wickets for 18 runs in four overs including one maiden. Rahul Chahar continued his good show and took another couple of wickets conceding 22 runs in his four overs. Nathan Coulter-Nile gave away 25 runs in four overs to register one wicket. For Chennai Super Kings, it was a disappointing match as the bowlers failed to take any wicket of MI during the chase.
Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult are at 2nd and 3rd places with Kagiso Rabada leading the list. Rahul Chahar is another Mumbai Indians bowler to be featured in top ten bowlers’ list IPL 2020 thus far.
