Anisa Mohammed

Anisa Mohammed

Anisa Mohammed and her twin sister were introduced to cricket by their parents at a young age. They began their domestic careers with Trinidad & Tobago. At the age of 15, she made her ODI debut against Japan in July 2003. Her T20I debut came five years later against Ireland. The off-spinner has been a mainstay of the Windies bowling attack ever since, registering match-winning performances in both formats of the game. Her career-best figures of 7-14 came in the final of the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier in November 2011. Anisa has also been a part of all World Cups (both formats) ever since her debut, including West Indies' title-winning 2013 Women's World Cup and 2016 Women's World Twenty20.

Anisa is the first ever cricketer, male or female, to claim 100 wickets in T20Is.
