The fan got warm replies for cricket fans in India as well. A lot hoped that India soon plays in Pakistan and vice versa. Indian fans have always cheered for Pakistan cricket. Pakistan coming back to cricket
India has not toured Pakistan since 2008, mainly because of the security issues and political unrest. The two teams haven’t played a bilateral series also since 2012/13. Then Pakistan travelled to India for an ODI and T20I series and after three years they again for the T20I World Cup. The arch-rivals now only get a chance to play each other in ICC tournaments and Asia Cups.
But meanwhile, there is good news for cricket lovers in Pakistan. International cricket returned to Pakistan after two years. Pakistan hosted Sri Lanka in three ODIs and as many T20Is, that concluded yesterday. The visiting team was without their ten regular players and was beaten by the hosts 2-0 in the ODIs. But the T20I series was won by the Lankans as they whitewashed the green army.
