Chasing 172 in 20 overs was not a hard task for Kings XI Punjab with an in-form KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal. Moreover, they had Chris Gayle this time in the playing XI who made a strong comeback. Rahul remained unbeaten with 49-ball 61* as Gayle scored a 45-ball 53 and Agarwal added a 25-ball 45. KL thus did not only help KXIP complete the chase but he also managed to retain his position at the top of the IPL 2020 Orange Cap table. Mayank Agarwal is at second place.
