KL Rahul did not have a great start to this IPL as a player and skipper. But he made a comeback and how! In the second match of Kings XI Punjab, the captain led from the front and smashed the first century of IPL 2020. Kl Rahul remained unbeaten with 132 off just 69 balls with an astonishing strike rate of 191.30. It was a marvelous beginning to KXIP’s second match that saw them set a target of 207 for Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.

For the Bangalore team, it was never going to be easy but the line-up was crushed by the KXIP bowlers for only 109 runs. Washington Sundar was their highest run-scorer with just 30 runs from 27 balls. AB de Villiers scored a few runs again to remain in the top 10. As de Villiers stands at the fifth position of the following table, KL Rahul with 153 runs is leading the chart. Faf du Plessis who is not at the second place will be playing his third match against Delhi Capitals and expected to give a tight fight to KL Rahul at the top.
