Faf du Plessis does it again for Chennai Super Kings to reclaim the top position of Orange Cap table. Though his team failed to win their third match of the season, du Plessis remained to play his role with dedication.
Once again Chennai Super Kings faltered as they failed to chase down 176 runs set by Delhi Capitals. The Capitals finally managed to seal their maiden win of the league based on collective team performance. Faf du Plessis yet again became the highest run-scorer of his side although he could not complete third consecutive half-century. He scored 47 off 35 balls before getting dismissed by Kagiso Rabada. He surpassed KL Rahul in the following chart. From Delhi Capitals, Prithvi Shaw ended up as the highest scorer with a 43-ball 64 with nine boundaries and one maximum. Shaw is standing at 10th place of the Orange Cap table followed by his captain Shreyas Iyer at the 11th rank.
