He talked about Dhoni’s unique traits and also praised the way he handles the young generation.

Rohit Sharma on MS Dhoni’s unique quality

Rohit Sharma was seen speaking about his former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the online show Curly Tales. The hitman said that with Dhoni the leading comes naturally as it is in-born. According to Rohit Sharma, the ICC Trophies and IPL titles speak for his leadership.

“MS Dhoni is the one who has been like that. It’s in-born. It has helped him to make such good decisions on the field and now you see he is the most successful Indian captain with all three ICC trophies with him and many IPL titles as well”.
He went on speaking about Dhoni’s unique quality that makes him different from others. Rohit explained that Dhoni knows how to keep himself calm even in the difficult situations. “He is the best captain India has seen and there’s a reason behind it – which is being calm and composed under a situation.”

He further explained how he saw Dhoni handling young bowlers and giving them confidence. “I have seen him handle a lot of young bowlers. When they get under pressure, he just goes and puts his arm around them and talks to them about what needs to be done”.

The ODI sensation of Indian cricket then opined when a senior member backs a young player it makes the latter confident and eventually helps in the performance. “When a younger player is treated like that by a senior member of the team, you obviously feel confident and you want to deliver for the team.”
