The World Cup got more intense. India is heading to their sixth match. On October 29, India will lock horns with England at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. After completing five clinical wins, Team India has reached Lucknow for their clash against England. Before the match, India was having a practice session at the stadium. During that time, KL Rahul gave a tour of the stadium. The Indian Cricket Team has posted that video on their social networking site. Fans are enjoying that little sneak peek.

What was there in the Video?

India is set to face England in their sixth match at the Ekana Stadium. After defeating New Zealand in Dharamshala, they have already reached Lucknow. They are practicing before the match in the stadium. At that time, KL Rahul gave a stadium tour. In that video, he showed the dressing room and view of the field from there and many more.

The stadium is close to KL Rahul. In IPL, he plays for Lucknow Supergiants. This stadium is his home ground for that tournament. He has played many matches there with incredible support from fans. Besides showing the Stadium, he talked about his IPL experience in this stadium, his injury, and his feelings before the match.

KL Rahul’s Words:

KL Rahul is a magnificent player of the Indian team. But the injury has always been a concern to him. The same thing happened to him in this year’s IPL. He sustained an injury in a match and was ruled out from the game for a long time. It was a setback for him and as well as the team. In the Asia Cup, he made a remarkable comeback against Pakistan and scored an unbeaten century.

In this video, he talked about that injury. He said, “ When I entered the ground and I had to do a bit of training, I told my trainer Rajneesh sir that my heart is racing. The last time I was on this ground, I didn’t have a great experience or not such a great moment in my career. So obviously a bittersweet experience. That injury had a huge impact on me and my career so wasn’t such a great moment for me, for my family. It’s not a great feeling for any athlete to keep getting injured so often.”

He also said, “ I realized that it came at a time when I needed that break away from the game because there was a lot going on with me mentally and for the first time in my career I felt like I had no answers.”

This Sunday, fans will be witnessing a classic clash between India and England. India is just unstoppable in this tournament. They are unbeaten in the tournament. On the other hand, England won only one match against Bangladesh. They will try hard to get the win.
