India registered a phenomenal win against the Kiwis, by a margin of 70 runs after having posted a target of 398 runs with a loss of 4 wickets. The Men in Blue created history as the team reached the final stage of a World Cup edition after a gap of almost 12 years. In the last World Cup held in 2019, India and New Zealand locked horns against each other in the semifinals but unfortunately didn’t emerge victorious.

Virat Kohli, hit the most significant century for his team yesterday, a gigantic 117-run century off 113 deliveries and smashed his 50th ODI century surpassing India’s Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar record of 49 ODI centuries. With this great achievement, he became the only player in the history of Cricket to smash 50 ODI centuries.
With the powerful knock, he registered his name permanently in the World Record books with all the former cricketers and fans in and around the world praising the 35-year old batsman for his extraordinary batting prowess.
